It's Christmas - and all over the South Tyrol, and especially in the homely town of Brixen, there is a wonderfully festive atmosphere. The aromas of glühwein, cinnamon and gingerbread spread through the town and tempt adults and children alike to relax and indulge themselves in cafés, restaurants and inns and at the Domplatz, which, with the 40 stalls at the Christmas market is at the heart of the magic of Advent.
