Dead Drops is an anonymous peer-to-peer file-sharing network launched by artist Aram Bartholl. Don't be surprised when you find an USB Flash drive embedded into walls. They are part of an offline P2P network called Dead Drops. They are accessible to anybody and you can drop or find files on it. On the USB stick you will find a readme.txt file explaining the project plus eventually files someone has dropped. You can find sticks already in several places and also install a dead drop yourself in your city to share your favourite music, files, and data.
