From early May to late October, the Castelli Aperti initiative gives you the opportunity to visit castles, buildings and stately homes in southern Piedmont. The initiative involves different types of facilities offering a range of tourism services: castle-residences, buildings hosting permanent or temporary exhibitions, castles with cellars, Piedmont's regional wine stores, parks and gardens, etc. Don't miss the 'Castelli in Scena - Castles on Show' programme, with theatrical performances, concerts, ballets and local produce markets, for an even more exciting way to experience the stately homes scattered throughout the Cuneo area. Most of the Open Castles opens up its sites free of charge.
