MemBoost: RAM optimizer
'The ultimate memory manager' is a program which frees up system RAM. The benefit of this is felt most on systems which have 64 Mb or less of memory. The advantage or freeing system RAM from a third-party programs instead of relying on Windows to do it for you is that Windows frees up only 200 Kb of RAM each time it falls short. This means that if you have to load a 2 Mb program and have 100 Kb of RAM left, then to accomodate the new program Windows will only free 100 Kb at a time making it very slow as the process has to be repeated over and over again.
