Nix, a declarative and reproducible Linux distribution
A Linux distribution completely different from the most famous ones like Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, etc. Normal Linux systems are operating systems where the user installs applications, changes system configurations, and makes changes that are difficult to remember or restore. NixOS solves this with a single file called configuration.nix where all system features are specified: Applications and software, Services, Drivers and configurations, Various customizations. And from these parameters, it builds your OS. This way, you'll have a single organized file to manage everything: in case of problems, just restore a previous version of the file (automatically). And since it's reproducible, you just need to copy the configuration file to another PC to create an identical copy of the previous computer!
