ExposurePlot, the Exif Lens Length Analyzer - Reads exif info from jpeg files

The program

ExposurePlot is a freeware utility that -for instance- shows a graph of the focal lens length you used in your photos. Shutter speeds, ISO's and apertures will be also presented in the graphs. Exposureplot reads only jpeg files, a file format that most digital cameras use or in some way can create besides the raw files.

First DSLR

Exposureplot can be a big help for upgraders from a compact zoom to a first DSLR, just let Exposureplot analyze the jpg files from your camera. Examine the graphs to find out the aperture and lens length you used most.

 

Description

Exposureplot reads the exif data from jpeg files in a folder and creates graphs for lens length and other camera related tags like ISO and shutter speed. The program can search through subdirectories as well.

The filter can help you to get info from a specific camera. Just add Make and Model into the filter text fields, see the help in ExposurePlot for more info about this filter.

Q: I don't have that lens length:
A: If you crop an image, some programs alter the focal lens tag in the EXIF, the e.g. 800mm you see could be a cropped image made with a shorter lens.

Ïn some rare cases the latest Exposureplot 1.0.5 did create a "None of the jpeg files contained EXIF info" error, it seems a problem with the navigation bar in some Windows versions, hopefully this minor update to 1.0.5.a will fix that, if you still have this error download version 114 or download Wega2 and use the ExposurePlot option from the tools menu.
