Plaxo Contacts works by prompting you to choose people from your address book for whom you want to get updated contact information. It then sends a simple e-mail message on your behalf, allowing your contact to reply either by e-mail or via a secure web site. Plaxo processes the replies and integrates updated information into your address book. If your contact becomes a Plaxo user, you are connected and your address book is automatically updated whenever contact information changes. Plaxo also provides web-based access to your address book information, synchronizes your address book among multiple computers, and is tightly integrated with Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express.
