You can use the free web-based service on this page to encrypt and decrypt text messages and send them through Gmail or Outlook.com or save them as a link. Type the text you want to encrypt, then click on 'encipher it', enter a password and click again on 'encipher it', choosing the expiry date of the message. You will get a URL: only the recipients who know the URL and the password will be able to decrypt your message.
