Museum Of Satire And Caricature
The Museum Of Satire And Caricature is at found Forte dei Marmi (Lucca) and can be visited for free from June to September. It is unanimously considered the capital of political satire: more than 35.000 visitors every year, more than 200 cartoonists from different countries participate in the exhibition. All the best cartoonists were awarded here, but also famous writers, artists, journalists etc. and it became the world-wide centre for study concerning the history of the satire and of caricature. Events, introductions, critical notes and lots of cartoons to look at in our virtual web museum. News and information continuously updated. From June till September you can visit it for free.
